Good Day Everyone,
I’ve been lurking around the site for the past couple of days now just checking you all out. I have never raced in something as competitive as this before so I will have a lot to learn, but then we were all at that stage at one time or another. I’m coming off of a very long spell of not racing so I will have a lot of rust and dust to knock off.
A little about my self, I’m 36 married and have 3 kids. I served 15 yeas in the Marine Corps with the jobs of Infantry (7 yrs) and Weapons Repair (8 yrs). I’ve always loved true racing games, not those stupid weapons mounted kill fest pieces of crap.
So what do I expect to gain out of racing with you gentlemen, well it’s really simple,
1) Most of the time the computer just can’t give you any sort of REAL competition unless you set your car us so crappie you can’t even keep in on the track.
2) A mature, friendly environment. No more of those 9 year old punks wrecking you because you’re faster or just to be a pain your butt.
What you can expect out of me:
1) A mature individual who just wants to have fun racing and enjoying the company of like minded individuals.
2) You can expect me to be slow for some time. My wheel broke on my last move and I haven’t had a need to even think about replacing it until know. Right now the only racing game I own that you play is NASCAR ‘09 Funds are a bit tight right now and I’m saving up to get Dirt 2 so I will be able to race with you all more often, I do have GT5 preordered so that one is covered.
3) I don’t have VENT set up yet, but I’ll work on getting that fixed very soon if we both feel that I’m a good fit for this community.
Hope to see a few of you on a NASCAR track soon.

Welcome to LR Gun_Doc!
You will find exactly what your looking for here at Legit. We are a great group of drivers with respect and we drive clean and fast. We currently have NASCAR, GT5P and Dirt2 Series going on right now. As soon as GT5 comes out in Nov. There will be so many events there won't be enough time in a week to do them all...

Glad you made it Doc. If the list of things you were looking for is accurate, you've found them all here. Best bunch of guys racing online anywhere. Keep an eye on the forums and post as often as you like. I know there is a Nascar event scheduled for Monday night @ Indy. We'll prolly be running happy hour starting around 7 PM EST.
